  brass/copper tarnish remover:

  • salt

  • flour

  • white vinegar

    Mix together in equal parts salt and flour, then add white vinegar until a paste is made.   Rub into the stain and repeat as needed.

      Remove Lime from Toilet:

  • Pour white vinegar into the toilet bowl and let set for several hours. Scrub with brush.

     Keep drains open.

  • Pour one-half box of old baking soda down the drain followed by one cup vinegar.. Wait a few minutes then run hot water down the drain. 

     Deodorize the air.

  • White Vinegar is a natural air freshener when sprayed in a room.

     Clean Automatic Coffee Pots

  • pour 1/2 cup white vinegar to 1 pot of water, pour into coffee maker. Rinse by pouring coffee pot full of water into maker.

Keep pots and (pressure cookers) from staining: 

  • Rinse pots with vinegar and water, before you use them the first time.   

     Remove pet stains from carpets:

  • Blot up urine, flush several times with lukewarm water, then apply a mixture of equal parts Heinz White Vinegar and cool water. Blot up, rinse, and let dry.

     clean and disinfect wood cutting boards.

  • Wipe with full strength vinegar

     CLEAN THE WASHING MACHINE:

  • Pour a about 1 quart of distilled vinegar into your washer and using warm water let your machine run through a wash and rinse cycle. The vinegar will cut through built up soap residue in hoses etc.

     COLOR FAST YOUR CLOTHES-PREVENT COLORS FROM RUNNING

  • Soak your clothes in full strength white vinegar then was normally.  Colors will stay bright and clear.

     KEEP SOAP SCUM AND MILDEW OFF BATHROOM TUB AND CURTAINS:

  • Wipe surface area and curtains with white vinegar after each use.

     KEEP YOUR WALKWAY FREE OF  GRASS:

  • pour a little white vinegar between the bricks, walk stones.

     FRESHEN YOUR WASH:

  • add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to your wash load

    MAKE YOUR AIR FRESHeNER:

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  •  1 tablespoon vinegar 

  • 2 cups of water

     After it stops foaming, mix well, pour into a spray bottle and spray into the air.
