GARDEN FERTILIZER/COMPOST Spread the ashes from your BBQ and from your fire place in your garden. This will help in growing stronger plants

GARDEN helpers: When I had a large garden, I put hay around the plants and on the rows.  This way when I watered, the moisture would last longer, weeds were easier to pull. You also knew just where to till.

HOT PEPPERS:  When planting hot peppers, water just enough to keep them growing.  The less you water them, the hotter they get.

Freshen Stuffed Animals:  Keep favorite cuddly toys fresh with a dry shower of Baking Soda. Just sprinkle Baking Soda on and let it sit for 15 minutes before brushing off. It is safe for your baby.

Cleaning Brushes and Combs:  Clean natural oil build-up and hair product residue from combs and brushes by soaking them in a solution of 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda in a small basin of warm water. Rinse and allow to dry. LEAN RINGS: Remove a ring stuck on your finger by using vegetable oil. my mom

CLEAN TUB: Hard water build-up can be cleaned much easier if you fill your tub with hot water and pour a few cups of vinegar in it and let it set for a few hours. my mom

PRICE TAGS ON GLASS: You can put a little bit of lighter fluid on a paper towel and rub the sticky residue. author unknown

RUSTY TOOLS: A friend of mine had charcoal briquets in his tool box. He said it absorbed moisture.

GUM FROM HAIR: Take an ice cube and hold it against the gum. The gum will harden and be easier to come out.

STUCK ZIPPERS: Take a lead pencil and rub it up and down the zipper.

STUCK ZIPPERS: Rub soap on the teeth of the zipper and it will move easier.

DIRTY PEARLS: To clean pearls, rub a dab of Star Olive Oil® over pearls, cleaning each pearl individually. Wipe dry with a chamois cloth

SHAVING :  If you run out of shaving cream, slather on Star Olive Oil.
